The purpose of the Literature Distribution Subcommittee is to procure all literature and related items from the Regional Service Office and distribute them at the group level. It also procures and distributes meeting lists as needed. Distribution is done largely at the monthly Area Service Committee and is also available as required throughout the month.
The literature Distribution Chairperson is responsible for purchasing inventory. He/she should maintain records, fill literature orders, sell meeting lists at established prices, prepare a balance sheet report, and submit it to the Administrative Committee at each ASC.

Our Recovery Literature
Written by members, our literature offers identification and a message of hope to the still-suffering addict. Recovery literature is an invaluable source of help for members, potential members, and those who want to help addicts.
The NA program is a way of life that is based on the Twelve Steps. The steps offer members an avenue for growth and change to maintain their recovery. We learn how to apply these steps to our lives by reading NA literature and going to meetings.
Our literature reflects the collective experience of NA members and illustrates how we live life on our terms. Over the years, NA has changed, and our literature has been expanded and revised, but the message remains the same: An addict, any addict, can stop using drugs, lose the desire to use, and find a new way to live.
